Brazzaville album covers

this is my favorite, with the sun light, like their music

this is the back of the CD and I like the type and the photo. Reminds me of summer

and this so reminds me of Updike's novel "Rabbit, run" and I don't even know why. Just.. it's the best picture for this book, which is awesome too, although I'd been reading these 260 pages for about 6 months.

#nowplaying Brazzaville of course ;)

This is one of my favorite photos ever, made by one of the greatest photo artists Robert Frank in the end of 50s in the USA. He was just driving across the States and taking pictures of things he had seen. The album is called "America" and it's amazing, although it had a few success.
But look at this photo.. It has an atmosphere, it has a history..
I want to be in a road cafe now, drink whiskey, smoke and listen to Tom Waits, and to drive in an old buick to the west when the night comes. It feels like John Updike

most of russians hate this song
but I love it. I'm not russian, haha.

P.S. I want to thank my dad's studio for being so wonderful and for its special atmosphere, that gives me so much. Thanks!

There’s one million stars
for every little grain of sand down there

everything is melting
everything is grey
and it seems to me that I live in Twin Peaks, not Saint-Petersburg
Hope I don't

Through the darkness of future past
the magician longs to see
one chants out between two worlds
fire walk with me

did you know that in icelandic the word "hljóð" means both "sound" and "silence"?
