I had 4 months to design the course project. It took me 3 months to choose the theme and about 2,5 weeks to design it.
I've chosen to design album covers for Biosphere's old amazing record 'Patashnik' after I'd found out this: "the word patashnik is allegedly Russian cosmonaut slang for "a traveler" or "a goner", a cosmonaut who didn't return from a space mission because his security cable disengaged and he was lost in space."

Here are the first three.

I used my photos of Israeli desert and mountains in Adygea, babilon alphabet and numbers and old norse runes.

  1. Hi,
This is really cool, 'Patashnik' is my favorite album of all time - a real classic. I have great difficulty in deciding what the best track is.
Anyway, interesting designs(did you get these printed??). I also love both the Origo Sound and Apollo artwork for this amazing piece of ambient music. Cheers, Andy
